I'm finally back after a really rough journey fetching my dog from Sweden. This is an outfit I wore before I left but never had time to post. The trousers are new from Zara. I have really began to obsess about the colour burgundy, and this is actually my first piece of clothing in that colour. Love. I also wore my H&M pearl collar which is another favourite in my closet. ... was this photoshoot with this dress from Cos. Love? Yes. I really love when clothes play with shapes. I have been on the lookout for it in stores but so far nothing... Unless I missed it... I love Cos's price range - you get so much for the money.

At the moment I am in a hotel in Copenhagen, my road trip from Stockholm to London has begun with train. Tomorrow we are continuing with train, train, train and train and then finally we will board a ferry taking us to the UK. All this to bring my puppy across. Therefore the updating has been off - like I wrote in the previous post I am spending all my free time organising this and making sure it all goes well - soon enough we shall know and then I will be back to more frequent blogging.

doing school work and preparing for next week

This week I took unannounced blog break. Next week I am going back to Sweden to get my dog and this week has been super busy making travel arrangements and doing school work so that I am ahead of schedule... It's been a stressful week to say the least and I haven't had time to photograph outfits or been bothered to dress to impress so instead of some half-dead blogposts I thought a break would be better. I can't tell you how next week is going to be because I am looking at 3 days of travelling non-stop (a.k.a. night and day) but after this weekend I feel my energy is back so I will do my best.

Remember the hype a year or two ago about sequined leggings? Well I just caught on now and really want this pair from Reiss... How nice are they to dress down with a casual A. Wang t-shirt and big cardigan? Too bad my budget is saying N. O...

moodboard

Yesterday I styled a shoot for a great photographer named Arunima Rajkumar. We did four completely different looks - hence the messy moodboard but the topic was street fashion. We did one 70s look, one modern, one bohemian and one northern look. I haven't seen the complete end result yet but I am going to share a sneak peek tomorrow!!!

COS online

In case the news hasn't hit you yet Cos recently opened an online store. I think it's great! I'm not an online-shopping kind of girl but I love to surf around and look at what is being offered, only to see something I like and then hit the nearest store to try it on...


Today my boyfriend and I are doing the London tourist scene with tourist attraction and famous restaurant dinner. Will keep you posted on my experience :-)

my favourite

This is one of my favourite outfits right now. I am so into wearing just one colour all the way, maybe mixing shades but not necessarily... Just focusing on different materials and adding something like lipstick to make the look... I would love to do an all red outfit... Just need to fill up my closet with some red first... Or burgundy... I am so into burgundy right now...

nice 'n' easy

Yesterday I did take it easy with a warm drink and my Northern Women in Chanel book. Now I'm at LCF in between classes and later on I am having coffee with a photographer about a shoot I might be styling, we are going to discuss moodboards and such. I will keep you posted...

Sorry about the slow blogging, have been dealing with a lot of practical things. But I will be back tomorrow and will post the rest of this outfit, an outfit I love, so pretty... Now I am going to have a slow evening - I am surprisingly tired...!?

Another thing I do is take pictures of stuff I see in magazines that I like. I try to include the text as well, so that I know prices and where the clothes come from. That way, when I am out shopping I can just show the pictures to the sales advisors or remember things I wanted or stores I would like to visit...

Sometimes when I go shopping I will take pictures of stuff I try on that I am unsure about so that I can go home and think about it and then just look at the pictures to remind myself. I took these pictures a while ago, might even have been in august, of this amazing yellow silk acne sweater. I was unsure at the time and the price did not convince me either. Now I have had a long time to think and I have drawn the conclusion that I love this piece of clothing and want it. Too bad I can't afford it...

I mixed these two patterns on monday. I generally like mixing patterns but unfortunately my closet echoes when I look for patterned pieces. I have to get better at buying clothes with patterns. I especially want a pair of trousers... Sadly I don't have a complete outfit picture but yeah - this is what it looked like...

... is a swedish website were people upload what they wore to inspire others. Yesterday I found myself on the front page with one of my outfits as number 3. Woohoo!

my evening

Here are a few snapshots from my evening. Went to the Levi's event but didn't find anything I liked. Had a redbull though but made it a sober night so stayed clear of the redbull-vodka that was being served. The DJ was good and the staff friendly but we didn't stay too long. Went for frozen yoghurt with toppings but silly me decided not to have any. My friend indulged in it though and I regretted my choice.

Levi's x Red Bull

Tonight I am going to a Levi's x Red Bull party. I think it's mainly organised for students and with 30% off I won't complain. I have been curious about the curve ID jeans for a while now so it's going to be interesting to see how they look on. I will keep you posted!

An old one...

When I was still back in Sweden I wore this outfit and only remembered I forgot blogging about it today... The shoes are Acne and the rest is H&M. I really like matching the shorts with unexpected colours like this rusty orange. Today I am running erands I think, and tonight I will be going to an event, more on that later.

Drapers

I am now a proud subscriber to Drapers Magazine - an industry magazine which is supposed to be really good. It comes out every week so I will shortly let you know my verdict...

Today was an exhausting day with a lot of introductory lectures. I'm excited to get started on the real stuff though. Right now I'm really tired and will probably just crash in front of the TV with dinner and then cuddle up in the sofa with my "Northern Women in Chanel" book. Still haven't had a proper look at it...

casual sunday

Sunday means comfortable and casual to prepare for the new week. I was sweating in converse, leather shorts and layers of brown. It may look like the breeze is cooling me down but the heat wave of 30° C in october has been unexpected and I prepared myself for a cooler temperature. Anyway - this is yesterdays outfit - no funny business...

Or enjoy frozen yoghurt and watch the crowd.

Today I did another day trip to Europes largest shopping centre - Westfield Stratford. I completed a quiz our teacher at LCF assigned us to do and browsed a little. Westfield literally has it all: Forever 21, H&M, Zara, John Lewis, River Island, Next, Primark, New Look, Aldo, Kurt Geiger, Topshop, etc, etc. They even do swedish stores like Acne (my favourite designer!) or Polarn o Pyret (childrenswear). And the food possibilities are endless - all kinds of food from vietnamese to pretzels can be enjoyed here. The only negative - the amount of people. Although I guess that is the same everywhere in London. Something I need to get used to... 


I will upload my sunday-outfit tomorrow morning before I head off to school - first proper school week begins tomorrow and I have kind of been longing actually...
