Dress - H&M, cuffs - Lindex, sunglasses - Bvlgari, shoes - Acne

I bought this tunic-dress a while ago but this is the first time I caught it on camera. I am so in love with it though, and I have worn it quite a few times. It is so perfect because the material is so light and flowing that it works great tucked into trousers or shorts as well. I know it exists in white also, and I am so tempted to buy it but I try not to get repetitive in my closet by having the same garments in different colours. 

The evening this was taken my boyfriend and I were waiting for the bus and the sun was still up, even though it was around 9 p.m. That is something I love about Swedish summers. It doesn't get dark until you don't need it to be light anymore, if you know what I mean. Today I had a productive day; went driving, to the gym and cleaned. I am so glad to have a few days off, especially since this week is shaping up to be a good-weathered, hot-temperatured week.

This week I have been working long hours every single day so that's why the blog has been dead. But next week I am planning to take it easy and update loads. These past few days I have been working at the newly opened COS store so some pieces from their collection did get to come home with me as well. I am hoping to show them to you soon.

Here is a preview of an outfit I wore one evening this week when I went on a date with my boyfriend. I'm exhausted now (woke up at 7 a.m. this morning to be at the COS store at 8) so I will post the rest of the outfit tomorrow. The cuffs are new and they are from Lindex. At the moment I am almost too in love with them because I want to wear them every single day which makes my outfits all the same since accessories make the look. I'm wondering if I want them in gold as well?

two in one

A few days ago I bought these jeans and this hat at H&M. I am beginning to doubt the jeans more and more but I thought I would share them with you anyway. Now the hat I love. I have been looking for a panama-ish hat for at least a year and I am so so happy with this one. Initially it is a bit bigger along the sides than I had in mind but truth of the matter is I think I love it more this way. I decided to keep the look simple and let the hat be the main accessory, only to add two plaited bracelets and some minty bright nails. I love that barefoot season is here.

Blazer from H&M, old shorts, accessories - see previous post

A few days ago the sun was shining and the temperature was practically too hot to wear the jacket I am wearing in these pictures. Right now it's freezing outside. But anyway. A few days ago I was wearing this, which includes a new clutch from Zara, new blazer from H&M and my favourite shoes from Topshop. 

And on top of that my legs are matching my white top colourwise. OK well not really but almost. Give it time though. Although I must admit with my super swedish blood, blonde hair and blue eyes the genetics-gods have not blessed me with the fortune to get very tanned, but I like to think I at least get a little colour ;-) 

Now I am going to watch morning glory with my boyfriend - it's a great movie (I have already seen it), you should watch it!

I know the updates haven't been many but that is because I have been spending all my time studying for the exam I had yesterday, which, if you are interested, I do think I passed. Let's not jinx anything though because truth be told I am not sure at all. Hard as hell that exam is... 

Anyway. This is a preview of what accessories I was sporting the other day. I will be sure to post the outfit tomorrow, so pop in again then. Hopefully with the weather getting better and the exams getting fewer I will have more and more outfits to share with you guys. Lately I have done a bit of shopping as well so an introduction to my new wardrobe pieces is also due. 

Now I am going to prepare a quick dinner and watch Rachel Zoe project - "I die".

As I mentioned in a previous post my phone disappeared saturday night, and together with that my Mulberry case that my boyfriend got me. I already got a new iPhone and I loved my Mulberry case so much that I needed to get a new one immediately as well. Sadly they didn't have any in Sweden so I ordered it online and it will be arriving monday.

As for other things in my life I have a big exam coming up end of next week so I'm spending most of my days in my comfy house-clothes studying, hence the absence of outfits posts. This will also be the reason for absence in other posts because I don't know how much time I will have for the blog, so here's a warning! Keep popping in though, I'm sure one or two posts will come up.

My favourite blog for the past month or two is this one: 5 inch and up. I thought I would write a post about it and share these pictures that I have saved on my computer from her blog. They are just such an inspiration and she is my biggest source of inspiration right now, her style is flawless. On top of that I'm pretty sure I would do anything for her wardrobe. And the Acne shoes in the second and fourth picture, the ones that I used to hate, I now love. Simply because she styled them so well that she turned me around. So yeah, my favourite blog at the moment is definitely 5 inch and up.

on its way

Ordered these two fringed items from H&M and am hopefully going to pick them up tomorrow. Very into fringes right now. Also, my dad is coming to visit from South Africa next week so I asked for him to bring some african bracelets back as I feel for that right now. These three pictures were the ones I sent as inspiration so lets see what he comes back with, lets hope it will be what I was looking for...


On other notes my phone and my beloved phone case got misplaced yesterday and is now probably history, which sucks :-( Tomorrow I will be taking some driving lessons (determined to get my license before july) and work a little. Bye for now!

the dress

This is the dress I bought a while back. I totally forgot to share it with you guys so here goes. It's from H&M and I totally adore it. Can't wait for the summer so I can wear it. It's one of those dresses that you can wear to any occasion. Day or night, beach or city. Here I am matching it with a H&M necklace worn as a headband and topshop fringe shoes. I love those shoes.

This week I have been stressed out of my mind because I am falling behind in school and I have had so much on my to do list. Taken care of most things on that list, doing the rest tomorrow. But on top of all that I have been trying to work as much as possible to earn some extra money for the summer. So I have really had a tight schedule and it will look this way the rest of the week. No time left over for anything. But I am quite full of inspiration at the moment so I am sure I will post one or two inspiration posts. 'Til then my friends!

thursday climbing trees

Thursday we woke up to a summer heat again and spent the day in the sun and by the beach throwing balls into the water for my dog Chloé to fetch. I wore my dress during the day because it was hot but towards the evening we were heading back into town and I wore my probably favourite trousers, three necklaces, an Acne tshirt and a leather vest. We played around a bit climbing trees and then we took a taxi boat back to the main land. It was an amazing mini-trip and I can't wait to do it again soon.


Yesterday we had a dinner picnic watching the sunset in the park and today I worked a shift at H&M. I managed to purchase a few things which I will probably show you in the coming week. Happy easter everybody!

summer place by the sea

My boyfriend and I are both working this easter weekend so as I mentioned in a previous post we went to my summer place to celebrate easter early on wednesday. The temperature was amazing and the world got a glimpse of my pale bare legs, first time in Sweden this year. I wore a simple black dress from Topshop and boots from Rokin, a swedish shoes brand. Stay tuned for more pictures.

The temperature is rising quickly, and just a few days ago I was wearing this, with socks and open shoes. Today I would have been able to wear this without socks. Really looking forward to the summer. These are probably my favourite shoes, or at least definitely top three. They are from topshop and a lovely faded pink-ish colour. The rest is pretty regular, I am wearing african jewelry and I am located on top of a hill in a park with a great view. 

Tomorrow I think I will post a picture or two of my new dress, also a summer piece. Then I am off to my summer place for a night with my boyfriend but I am hoping to get a few photos out there to share with you on thursday or friday. Now - bed.

my new shorts

The title says it all. These are my new shorts from H&M. I love them. Now I just need someone to provide me with a temperature and weather that allows me to wear them beyond the walls of my apartment.

vampires

Monday night I went out with a couple of friends to a cocktail bar called Vampire Lounge. The cocktails were really great and the place is cool. Before we went there we were at one of my friends house drinking some red wine, which explains the colour of my lips. 

I decided to go for a casual look with denim. The shirt is my boyfriends and I spiced it up with a bracelet around one of the sleeves. I wore my Acne Box shoes that finally get to come out again now that the snow is gone, although the picture doesn't really capture the beauty of them. 

Now I am going to have a calm evening with my boyfriend, finally! He has been working a lot lately... This weekend I am spending working at H&M, so I don't know how much I will update, just a heads up.
