I'm back from Egypt! More about that later - now for some news!! I will be blogging for a swedish shopping mall called Gallerian. B for busy, which is what I have been because it is exam and deadline season. However, my last exam is tomorrow and my essay is all handed in and although I have family coming to visit and a lot of things planned in for the next two weeks, I am hoping you will see a few more posts, but no promises... 


B is also for Balenciaga who in my eyes literally never fail... I mean look. Die.

building up my wardrobe...

At uni today and all my pics are on my main computer so will post a post with an inspiration picture meanwhile... I'm thinking about what to focus on this spring when it comes to building up my wardrobe. I really need proper basics and that is going to be my first focus. Timeless pieces in good quality. But I am thinking about some fun jeans... Tie dye jeans like these (courtesy of Elin Kling) or some colourful ones, I'm thinking orange (maybe the Acne Flex?) or some pastel light yellow ones... Stay tuned because I will definitely be posting more about building up my, currently confused (full of random pieces from different trends that don't work with each other), wardrobe...!

the busy London Fashion Week

Hey lovelies! The title says it all really, been super busy with work, school, but mainly London Fashion Week. The internship that I am doing has definitely been... interesting. Inspiration photo's from Jak&Jil is what I am looking for as London Fashion Week is around the corner and I am thinking about what I might wear. LFW is also the reason the blog is running dry on content, I am so busy and stressed with organising everything before all the shows begin next week!

I am sooo sorry but I am just so busy at the moment that there isn't enough time for me to create proper blog material so some random inspiration will have to suffice :-)

Still stuck on...

... wearing one colour from head to toe... It looks so good when done right... As soon as my economy allows, I will definitely be updating my wardrobe with different tones of one colour... I'm thinking white, blue or red... Or I mean yellow is really cool... Or beige, I do like camel-toned looks... And black always works... Ok, I need to know how to say stop ;-)

Here's a snapshot of a part of my mood board... The pictures are just sort of thrown together with no apparent theme or idea mixing bohemian with grunge and trendy and classic and runway... So it may be a bit messy and there may be no real focus but I think that is my style in a way... One day I will dress really casual with big knits and the next day I will wear a white polo with a dress. One day I will wear rings, bracelets and necklaces and the next day I won't wear any jewellery at all... 


So the messy ness in this mood board really does reflect my schizophrenic style - which in 2012 I want to clean up. I want to find my style and stick to it, not jump around between different ones. I do think that its really cool to do that - but for now my economy just can't support it and with me doing so I have pieces in my closet that only match with one thing because of the difference in styles... Wow this is a confusing post but I hope you see where I'm going ;-)

Back from SA

I am now back from South Africa and Cape Town and I'm preparing a post for tomorrow with a bunch of pictures from my trip. But today I am spending the day with my boyfriend and this evening we are going out for dinner. I would love to accessorise like this (Jak & Jil of course) - especially because for christmas I got a watch from him which would look perfect matched with other watches. I love that look but it is definitely hard to get it right... I guess that remains to be seen for tonight eh? Keep you posted...

I have never been a huge fan of Rikas stars and when I first saw Acnes SS 2012 collection I was not ecstatic... But as it turns out the stars are quickly growing on me and I find myself wanting to buy everything with star-quality ;-) Too bad I'm broke... As always... Saving up for a very expensive christmas present to myself!

... was this photoshoot with this dress from Cos. Love? Yes. I really love when clothes play with shapes. I have been on the lookout for it in stores but so far nothing... Unless I missed it... I love Cos's price range - you get so much for the money.

At the moment I am in a hotel in Copenhagen, my road trip from Stockholm to London has begun with train. Tomorrow we are continuing with train, train, train and train and then finally we will board a ferry taking us to the UK. All this to bring my puppy across. Therefore the updating has been off - like I wrote in the previous post I am spending all my free time organising this and making sure it all goes well - soon enough we shall know and then I will be back to more frequent blogging.

... this autumn. Today we are going to the newly opened, Europes largest, shopping mall: Westfield Stratford. Maybe I shall find what I am looking for there... Something warm and cosy in a neutral colour, black beige or brownish...

Stuck in a bit of a rut clothe-wise since I am spending most of my time at home packing and preparing for the move to London. Although I do have quite a few new things in my closet - they just haven't gotten to come out and play yet... But here is some inspiration meanwhile. I would kill for the boots in the last picture, BCBG Max Azria if I remember correctly... Maybe something I should look into on ebay? The middle picture is a clutch by Rodebjer that is from the a/w 2011 collection (which btw I love...) and costs 1599 SEK... Might actually be one of my a/w investments. Really want to do more colour this season... Top picture is taken from a blog I read once in a while called 365 Days... Just hate myself for missing that hat from Topshop... It is absolutely amazing... Maybe ebay as well?
