Keeping me warm

Sweden is giving us surprisingly mild weather for January but I can't complain, because although I love the snow, the +7C degree weather allows me to wear more comfortable and, let's face it, nicer things. Still though, got to keep warm because it's not exactly LA temperatures outside. I bought these two beauties in September time, both Acne, and they are amazing. The gloves are calfskin and calf hair, if I'm not mistaken, and the scarf is lambswool. Love. 

Perfection in a size S

Needless to say this was what was in the dustbag a few posts down. How beautiful is this beauty? The colour is divine and although simple is the key word to describe it there is something about the simplicity that makes it everything but boring... It fits just the right amount of stuff and keeps you from doing what is so easily done - bringing half of your home out with you when you're going out for the day (or night). This bag is the smaller version of the Celine trio, I like the smaller version better because I think it adds something extra, but the big one is just slightly boring in my eyes... I don't know, it's one of those weird things you can't explain, you just feel....

Anyway, enough about Celine and on to new conquests - I am planning a slight shopping spree coming up and I thought I would share what's on my list so far.... Pop in tomorrow for an image-version of my shopping list, which includes a new phone - YAAAAAY!!

Extras

Yes, I definitely have a weakness for shoes... And clothes... But you can't forget those little extra things that make a difference in your daily life. I am one of those people who love to add a little something extra to my everyday life, such as a luxurious scented candle, nice hand-soap and hand-cream, or a special perfume. The photo above represents some "new ins" when it comes to my everyday routine - a Byredo scented candle and a Byredo perfume. Just having them stand on a shelf in my room makes my day a little bit better, I love the look of them. The smell, of course, is... Well, perfect. For me anyway.

Wearing my bow

Today I wore my new Maria Nilsdotter ring, a little golden bow. I love it so much because it is so cute and unique, and really adds to an outfit, more than you would think. I also love the fact that I chose a size good for my index finger, which is a finger I usually don't wear rings on, but actually kind of love wearing rings on...? It was an amazing birthday gift from my lovely friend, which makes this ring so much more perfect.

As for the iPhone featured in this photo.... Suffice it to say I am looking forward to what Apple will be announcing on the 10th September, this phone has now definitely passed its golden years.

Proenza Schouler - finally new in

A picture says 1000 words. This one says more. It's my new baby that I have been wanting for years... Not to mention my first, real designer handbag. Proenza Schouler PS11. I couldn't be happier.

Wanted to start off after months of absence with a strong one, I think this does the trick. You will get pretty bored of it as it will star in all my outfit pictures.... Apologies in advance.

Acne accessories

Went to the Acne store a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with some accessories... The bag - black and leather, perfect. Maybe an autumn investment? And the Estelle shoes - love. Perfect for summer, and everyday shoes but with height... So pretty, comfortable and usable. And finally the Azalea shoes, no secret that I'm in love with them... 


Needless to say I left the store drooling and now, a few weeks later... Maybe one or two things are in my closet... To be continued...

my best friend

A few weeks ago my best friend came to visit, Elin, and I thought I would share some snapshots. It was a really short visit so we didn't have time for a lot, but the visit consisted of some cupcakes, shopping and loads of catching up. Amongst that we compared iPhone Mulberry cases, mine is a year old and hers is new. Mine used to look like hers...

I know my posts are nothing but regular, I can't give a reason as to why. I have a lot going on right now; taking my drivers licence tomorrow, stress at school (this term is proving to be way more busy than previous terms), working, all whilst looking for a new job. So time flies for me whilst it seems to be standing still on the blog. But I have a lot of things to blog about so I will try to update for sure. accessories sneak peak

I still haven't shared this outfit I wore more than a week ago now. I will post it tomorrow... Until then, here's a sneak peak of my accessories that I wore. The watch was a gift from my boyfriend, I have been wanting a gold watch with brown leather... 

through my lens

Speaking of building up my wardrobe, I must say the one thing I am good at is buying timeless sunglasses. I have a big movie-star pair from Bvlgari, the aviators from Rayban, and my latest ones are these wayfarers from Rayban. I got them from my boyfriend on valentines day and they are so great to toughen up a girlie outfit with!!! They are a bit big for my small face but I don't mind, it gives them a bit of a cat-eye look... Next up is a pair of white ones I think... Or a colourful pair anyway... Quite like the Acne ones, maybe in pink?

Marni for H&M

Oh yay! Finally more about the Marni collection for H&M!! Out in stores on the 8th of March and I am in love. I have always had a thing for Marni, don't know why but there's something that just draws me to the design, the prints, the colours and the general look... Here is a collage of my favourites but this is seriously the time I wish I had money. The collection is a nice collected one with lovely materials like wool, silk and patent leather. And Marni, as always, does not disappoint with accessories. I will be queuing!

YSL Arty Oval Ring

I have become more and more interested in seriously investing in jewellery and accessories, because at the end of the day they can really make or break a look and it is always nice to have pieces that you know are going to last you more or less a lifetime. Out of these pieces of jewellery there have been loads I have been lusting over, one being the YSL Arty Oval ring, which finally became mine as my boyfriend got it for me for christmas. I am so in love with it and I'm fighting the urge not to wear it every day, and I am already planning on buying a second one so I can wear them together... Beware of crazy... ;-)

New and furry

For christmas I also got this furry bag from Zara. I love it! It completely makes an outfit and it's roomy enough to fit everything you need but it's still not a big bag. Perfect for a night out or a day shopping when you don't want to carry around too much stuff. And to add onto that I have always wanted a furry bag - it makes playing with textures so fun and easy. Pop in later for a better outfit post...

Back from SA

I am now back from South Africa and Cape Town and I'm preparing a post for tomorrow with a bunch of pictures from my trip. But today I am spending the day with my boyfriend and this evening we are going out for dinner. I would love to accessorise like this (Jak & Jil of course) - especially because for christmas I got a watch from him which would look perfect matched with other watches. I love that look but it is definitely hard to get it right... I guess that remains to be seen for tonight eh? Keep you posted...

Pic: 365 days

... a bag like this one. They sell them everywhere here in Cape Town but I put off buying one until now and tomorrow we are heading back to Pretoria... But hopefully I will buy one at the market tomorrow. If you buy it there it would probably add up to around €50 whereas in the stores around here its more like €150 and if you go abroad you are looking at €300. So I'm sparing my wallet the pain by going for the market price... 


The bags are springbok and 100% South African but I know that you can buy them through Kamelo in certain countries as well.

Speaking of...

... the Acne star cap for the spring summer 2012 collection. I do not only adore the cap, or the other star-garments, I just adore the collection! And don't even get me started on the shoes. Oh I always have a weak spot for Acne. If only I could afford my desires... ;-)

I have a beloved iPhone case from Mulberry. It is so perfect with its sleek exterior and quality leather. But when I see this Balenciaga case I just die a little. How cute!?!? Maybe it doesn't hurt to have two iPhone cases? I mean after all, its like a bag, an accessory, and technically you should have several of those so you don't use the same one all the time...?

One bag- and accessories designer to look out for. With australian leather, quality and good prices her designs are really something I might invest in some time... Love.
