Thinking back to the summer and Stockholm Fashion Week. I wore my favourite, most adored, shoes one of the days. Don't actually think they have had a proper introduction here on the blog, I'll make sure to fit one in maybe tomorrow. But they don't really need an introduction, do they? They are the babe Celines from SS13 and there isn't much more to say. My most expensive shoe buy in 2013 but SO my best shoe buy as well. I LOVE. Rest of the outfit includes the Acne Copy Linen tshirt I lived in all summer and my favourite high waist shorts, several years old, from H&M. Oh and the Proenza of course.

Seeing stars
Trousers Etoile Isabel Marant, Shirt Sea
Two weeks ago it was still summer in London, like 20 degrees. Crazy. So I took advantage of that by spending some time in nature. Wore a shirt with small stars from a brand called Sea and my Etoile Isabel Marant cropped jeans with stars - I adore these. Have worn them so much and I just don't want to give them up for winter.... Stressing about that. Stars this late summer / early autumn is something I have really bought into for some reason. I'm not necessarily a star person but it just so happened that the pieces I fell for were all with star prints. I am really trying to expand my wardrobe into prints, and as you noticed in the previous post, animal prints are working out well for me, and as you notice in this post, stars are on the plus side as well....
Added a few pictures I took of my surroundings as well because... Well they speak for themselves really. I lived just by Chelsea Bridge which meant I crossed the Thames daily when walking my dog, and the view NEVER stopped astounding me. I can't even count how many photos I have taken of the Thames, particularly during sunset.

When in Stockholm....
Bag - Proenza Schouler, top - Acne, skirt - H&M (old), shoes - Celine
As I mentioned earlier, a few weeks ago I attended Stockholm Fashion Week. Although I wouldn't consider myself one of the best dressed, or most uniquely dressed, out of the people you meet there, I still thought updating the blog with one or two outfits could be nice. I wore this one of the three days, and was absolutely boiling. Might I add that this was at the end of August?
I am beginning to see a pattern with the skirts uploaded on this blog.... They all have (old) next to them. Is that my way of hinting to myself that new skirts are a necessity?
Well anyway, there isn't much else to say about this outfit, I love those shoes, just love, but what else is new...? The bag has been my trusted companion for around three months now, and actually there has recently been a new addition to my handbag-collection (which so far only consists of two proper bags but oh well, you have to start somewhere)... Pop in soon to see the update on a picture....!

Stars in silk
As promised an official outfit post with my Etoile Isabel Marant star trousers. They are just so comfortable...! I have actually worn them a lot this summer, the fact that they are silk means they make you feel cool on hot days and always... refreshed, in a way? It's hard to explain. The only problem is that I am finding the different looks I can create with them limited... Or maybe I am just not using my imagination enough....
Anyway, in this picture I wore them with an open back top and then threw on a loose sweater when the wind started blowing.... The weather in London right now is crazy hot so if it stays this way these trousers will show up here again quite soon I suspect...

Continued...
Tshirt - Acne, skirt - Topshop (old), bag - Proenza Schouler, shoes - Chloe
As promised, here is the rest of the outfit from the previous post. Nothing too exciting but let me introduce you to something else I have been living in this summer (besides the tshirt).... These ballet flats from Chloe are the most comfortable shoes I think I have ever worn. The leather is the softest thing, and the colour is perfect for summer. And I have always loved those waves - remember the Chloe bikini with the same waves? Must have seen it first like five years ago and it is STILL on my wish-list, so tricky to find though? The sad thing about these flats is that they have stretched so much that they are far too big for me now. Ah well, probably for the best though, I have worn them so much they are practically ruined so I need to get a new pair next spring anyway. But my piece of advice - go down half a size...

Thinking....
Silk trousers - Acne, leather top - H&M, lipstick - The Makeup Store "Dare"
Since I became a Buying Assistant I have had weekends off, not something I'm used to. Having time to do absolutely nothing confuses me, I don't know what to do... I did need it though, because at the moment I have some rather big decisions to make. I spent yesterday morning wearing more of an autumn-wardrobe, with black silk trousers and leather top, whilst considering my options for the autumn... As you can see, my dog was quite bored, haha.

the green H&M dress
Here's the whole outfit... I went for a polo underneath my green H&M dress that I really love, and wear quite often, but don't think I have ever managed to capture an outfit picture with until now... Some pieces of clothing are just good at avoiding the camera for some reason... But here you go... Acne boots, Rayban wayfarers and the accessories of the previous post got to accompany the garments this time...
Now I have so much school work to catch up on so I need to get started... Xoxo

accessories sneak peak
I still haven't shared this outfit I wore more than a week ago now. I will post it tomorrow... Until then, here's a sneak peak of my accessories that I wore. The watch was a gift from my boyfriend, I have been wanting a gold watch with brown leather...

Fashion Week Kick-Off
OK, so fashion week for me kicked off on Thursday at Jalouse, a really nice night club by Bond Street tube station. It was a party arranged by me for Fashion Insider Magazine, where I have been interning the last month. I don't have a lot of pictures but it looked a little like this. I wore Acne and H&M which is usually what ends up on my body so nothing special.
Friday and Saturday was spent at work (Acne) so I didn't attend any events those days, but Sunday was the Acne show so I went to Somerset House a little earlier and then made my way over to the venue the Acne show was held in. The show was amazing, as always, but I will save that for another post! But Sunday night was definitely a great night!
Got loads to share with you guys so check in soon again!

a shirt
Here is a picture that features what I'm wearing a little bit better than the previous one. As for shoes I was just wearing simple Acne heels, my favourite. I chose to wear a buttoned down shirt which I tucked in roughly to my trousers. I like that look and I have realised that I need both proper nice jeans and trousers and way more shirts in my wardrobe because those are basics you can wear with anything and they can really make an amazing look with the right accessories... Speaking of accessories I have another christmas gift I will show you later on today :-)

Cape town part 1
The weather in Cape Town was lovely...
We saw beautifully coloured houses...
And ones with drawings and advertisements on them as well...
We celebrated the new year with champagne...
And a few (but not many) fireworks were viewed from our rooftop...
We went for an amazing afternoon tea with a huge selection of food...
And a huge selection of different teas...
Including ice teas - which were served in champagne glasses...
We went for an outside concert to see "The Mango Group"...
The concert was located in a botanical garden overlooking Table Mountain (one of the natural wonders of the world...)
That's a little of Cape Town for you.... I will post pictures from a small town (Franschhoek) just outside of Cape Town later!!! Goodnight :-)

A new year
I will start the new year by publishing these photos from a few days ago - one of the last outfits I wore... Taken at my house in Pretoria before we headed off to Cape Town. I'm wearing a H&M pearl collar which I love but don't wear too often so I don't kill the charm of it.
I will summarise 2011 in one event - getting into the integrated masters course International Fashion Management at London College of Fashion and moving to London. That was definitely the happening of the year for me and also my biggest accomplishment and my strongest memory (amongst many other lovely memories).
For 2012 I have many resolutions or goals if you will and I am one of those people that really try to keep my resolutions and reach my goals - so in other words quite goal oriented. One goal is definitely to work harder on this blog both quality and content wise and I am hoping that will show soon enough. I am still in South Africa and Cape Town and internet access is a bit tricky so if updates aren't regular until I am back in London then you know why.
Lastly I would like to wish all my old - and new - readers a happy 2012!

Christmas Day...
... I wore this... A long sheer top/dress/tunic thing with my white H&M CC shorts and simple shoes. We went for a lovely lunch located on a golf court so I found it appropriate to wear something decently nice but not over the top... I know I'm behind on posts - sorry, but I am trying to catch up!

leather top
Polo and tshirt - H&M, trousers - Zara, shoes - Acne
The other day I wore this. I really love my leather tshirt but I find it boring to wear in the winter because I always cover it up with a big knit not to freeze... But this white polo definitely works to keep me warm as well. Temperature in London is still over 0°C so you can still wear open shoes. I matched it with my favourite burgundy trousers from Zara. Today I am going to apply for easter internships and just fix at home - and walk the dog of course... Regular sunday business, basically preparing for the week to come. In Sweden we count down the sundays before christmas, we call it advent, so happy fourth advent to you guys!

orange lips in the dark
So here is the outfit to the previous post... Simple straight military-coloured dress with orange lips and some silver accessories... And yeah the darkness will be a theme for posts until christmas when I go to the sunlight in South Africa... And I am leaning a bit weirdly in this picture - sorry about that!

11.11.11
So here comes a delayed burgundy / white turtleneck outfit... I actually really want to find a bright red knit to wear with these trousers but until I do I love matching them, and everything, with a white turtleneck. Warm, comfortable, easy and Celine inspired. The evening I wore this I went to the cinema to watch "The Help" and I definitely recommend it. I tend to freeze in the cinema so I warmed up in my favourite boyfriend knit and my H&M wool coat. Trousers from Zara, turtleneck from H&M, bag from Cos and Cypress shoes from Acne.
P.S. I love fun dates and times like today, 11.11.11. It will be the only date in my lifetime with only one digit in it...

favourites
Yesterday I wore some favourites from my closet. This red, sheer, flowy tunic-dress is really amazing, but it's a unique piece which limits how often you can wear it. My Acne Cypress boots are basically my everyday boots and same goes for the black jeans. Both just easy to wear and go with everything. And finally my white turtleneck. I love the Celine-inspired look that's very trendy now and the best part is that it keeps my cold-blooded body nice and warm...
Speaking of warm - I'm just about to take a bath and then get cracking on an essay due in a few weeks... Taking this weekend to really get working on it.

yesterdays adornment
Yesterday I mixed textures and went for a fuzzy orange H&M sweater, leather trousers and suede Acne Box boots...
